Condizioni economiche:

  • la partecipazione alle attività, vitto e alloggio sono interamente finanziati del Programma Erasmus+.
  • il partecipante deve anticipare le spese di viaggio, a cui seguirà un rimborso fino ad un massimo di 270 €
  • è necessario versare, prima della partenza, una quota di partecipazione di 50 €.

Ai partecipanti sarà rilasciato il certificato ”Youthpass” che descrive e convalida l’esperienza formale e informale acquisita durante il progetto, da allegare al proprio CV.

Aim and Objectives of the project

The project “Speak Up!” aims to raise awareness about the importance of public speaking, at an international level, by:

1. Establishing a proper setting for intercultural cooperation between young people and youth workers,
2. Creating the opportunity for young people and youth workers to practice and to improve their public speaking competences,
3. Organizing working groups in order to facilitate the development of participants’ public speaking skills,
4. Developing the participants’ self-evaluation and self-appreciation competences,
5. Raising awareness about the importance of public speaking competences in participants’ employability,
6. Empowering young people by supporting their entrepreneurial initiatives.

Description of the project

Through creative and non-formal activities (stress management, emotional management, art of speech exercises, relaxation techniques, the active listening workshop, the creative problem solving workshop, persuasion techniques, the emotional intelligence workshop, cultural visits, public speeches, debate sessions) the participants will have the opportunity of an unique learning experience. The learning methods will be non-formal: icebreakers, energizers, brainstorming, debates, team building exercises, role playing, simulation games, world café, living library.
The main results of this training will be: a virtual platform for future collaborations, a “best practices” guide in the field of public speaking and competent participants, with experience in public speaking.
